Dear Morehouse Men,
On March 19, 2010 the DC Morehouse Alumni Chapter will host its 40th Annual Morehouse Glee Club Concert. The concert will take place at the historic Shiloh Baptist Church which is located at 9th and P Street N.W. in DC. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM and will be followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall of the church. This is our largest and most significant fundraising event and as of this moment we are way behind in ticket sales. We need you to become a member of the Committee of 100, sponsor a brother as a member of the Committee of 100, and sell tickets. We specifically need brothers who have previously supported the Committee of 100 to do so again this year. As a Committee of 100 members, you will receive two special tickets, be seated in a special section, and your name will appear in the Souvenir Book. (Regular tickets are $20 each). Most importantly, your contribution ensures we can provide scholarship support to students currently attending Morehouse College.
Please select the manner that is most appropriate for you. Send your Committee of 100 membership request and payment to P.O. Box 44506 Ft. Washington, MD 20749. In either case, we need your response by March 9th in order to make the necessary arrangements.
Yours Sincerely, Alonzo Robertson, '90 President, Greater Washington D.C. Morehouse College Alumni Association Alonzorobertson@aol.com 240-398-1069

Caesar Hill Scholarship Fund
For those who are unaware, all proceeds help to fund the DC Chapter of the Morehouse College Alumni Association scholarship (Caesar Hill Endowed Scholarship Fund) at Morehouse College. Under the Caesar Hill Scholarship, Morehouse juniors and seniors from the Washington, DC, area are eligible to receive up to $2000 a year. This year is even more important to support this Fund as the number of students unable to meet tuition requirements due to the failing economy has increased dramatically.
